Rain over the southern principal slope of the Yuzhno-Chuiskii mountain range. Greyish is a montane tundra with dominance of Kobresia myosuroides (Vill.) Fiori et Paol. (Cyperaceae), dark green thickets are dwarf birch (Betula rotundifolia Spach; = Betula nana L. ssp. rotundifolia (Spach) Malyshev) tundras.

Between the Chikty Rivulet and a next rivulet to the East, 2300 m above sea level, the upper Dzhazator River basin, Kosh-Agach District, Altai Republic, the Altai Mts., West Siberia, Russia. 14th July 1998.
