Larix sibirica Ledeb. - Siberian Larch - ranges in West Siberia, east of the Yenisei River and Lake Baikal is replaced by Larix gmelinii (Rupr.) Rupr., considered as a distinct species inspite of existence of a transitory belt 450-500 km wide!
