Colias hyperborea Grum-Grshimailo, 1899, a male, a clouded-yellow species ranging in NE Asia. Photographed on a fruticulose tundra on the southern coastal terrase of the Koni Peninsula protruding into the Ochot Sea south of Magadan. The plants seen are Arctous alpinus (broad leaves) and Phyllodoce coerulea L. (narrow leaves) 17th of July 1988. O. Kosterin.
