Hipparchia pellucida (Stauder, 1923) (= Hipparchia semele L. pellucida).
An examle of a cryptic Satyrid underwear, but in this case the species inhabits not arid habitats, as most of its counterparts in the subfamily, but forests, so now it got almost invisible on a tree bark.
Range: Crimea, the Caucasus, Transcaucasia, East Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Cyprus.
ssp.: pellucida (Stauder, 1923); ? monotypical.
